The entire community is saddened by the news of Frank Reardon's house burning down last night. Frank is originally from Massachusetts in America but has been a part of this community for many years living in his board (wooden structure) house above Love Lane in Frenchman's District.
Unfortunately, the house went up in flames quickly and nothing was able to be saved. Our thoughts and prayers are going out to Frank today as we share in his sorrow of loosing his beloved home and everything in it.
Our wish as a community is that we all come together and help Frank in any way we can and to show him our support and love as he moves forward to rebuild his home and his life.
How sad is this! We pray that this is not arson.
What a tragedy. We have to give thanks that no lives were lost. And always remember that once their is life their is hope. So stand tall TB give your neighbor a helping hand one day that hand will you. ONE LOVE! .
My heart aches for Frank since hearing this news. Please keep up posted as to any community efforts to help Frank get back on his feet. One love.
any updates on those two fires?
The directors of Breds - the Treasure Beach Foundation are deeply saddened for the loss of Frank Reardon's home last Saturday night. Frank has contributed significantly to this community by taking several local persons to Boston since the mid 1990's where he offered training and employment in the field of landscaping. Some of those same persons, and many many others consoled Frank last Saturday night and continue to do this until he gets back on his feet. Frank has reminded us that he has the fighting spirit of the IRISH within him and will prevail. Let us all continue to console and support Frank and his family during this time of need. how can Frank be contacted.
Thank you all for the love and kindness you are giving to my brother. Our family has the greatest respect for you all! Jimmy Reardon
I would like to thank everyone for the tremendous outpouring of support and concern after the loss of my family's home. As often is the case, with adversity comes hope and resolve. If anything, this event has shown how very special and unique the people and visitors of Treasure Beach are. I am very grateful to each and all. Currently, I am in the Boston area along with Sophia and Hackeem to regroup. Until my return, I will remain Treasure Beach Strong. Respect to all.
