My precious aunt Gwen passed on today after a short illness.This is a very sad moment for us as family and friends.I had the privillege of seeing her just before her passing and the last family member to speak with her. She was concious and told me that she had no fear although she knew that she was going to die. This was because of her faith in God. Although she is gone her memories will continue to live on. I will never forget how faithful she was in taking care of my grandma Berry and aunt Joe and her willingness to give a helping hand to others. John, Mal, Melvin, Denroy and Hopie you had a wonderful mother and I can only imagine the pain that you are going through. My love and prayers are with you.

My sincere condolence to the children and families of Gwen.I know she was a dedicated care giver to her Mom and my beloved Miss Joe who took care of me when I was just a toddler.
May her soul rest in peace.

Stay strong my family, aunt Gwen is with The Most High. I really miss you aunt Gwen. I remember spending time with you in 2008. We spent time talking about our family history;about granpa's and granny's parents. As a child, you hardly remember conversations as such. Therefore I am very fortunate to have remembered and recorded our conversation. It is one of many moments with you that I will surely cherish. You were a good aunt to me. You always believed that I would turn out to be something admirable, something worthwhile. Thank you for your words of encouragement, your faith, your optimistic outlook followed by a "Natrue beddah" and your huge hugs. I love you so much. Mom called me last night from the hospital, and before she said anything I knew what had happened. After we spoke, I looked to the sky and said wow, I can't believe that you are now all around me, you are walking on Heavenly Roads. You were a good person, loving, kind, caring and sharing. Thank you aunt Gwen for being you. I love you, and know that when I see you again, you will have one of your huge hugs to greet me with. Blessings my sweet aunt, blessings.

In this very sad time we wish for all our family to take comfort in knowing that she is gone to a better place and we will get through this together.

We regret the passing of our dear cousin Gwen after her short illness. She will be forever missed.

Words cannot express how deep loosing a love-one cuts.. it is undescribeable, God alone knows; My family and i here in England are still shocked to hear of sister Gwens passing, she was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, grand aunt and great-grand aunt in every way, always there to lend a helping hand; she will be sadly missed especially when we come home,She will remain in our hearts FOREVER.

The funeral service for auntie Gwen will be held at Calvary Assembly of God, Treasure Beach, on Monday, August 2 at 2pm.
