A great young man of Watchwell had wipe out of our life .Young and old of Watchwell had loss an icon. I was always excited when I came to Jamaica to see my cousin and now that he is not here, it like a piece of us is missing. Deporte Was A Funny And Very Understanding Person...For The Little Time I Knew Him From My Trip To Jamaica Last August With My Family. He Was Always Smiling Or Telling A Joke. This is truly a great loss to the community of St. Elizabeth. I met Richard while visiting Jamaica a few times and he was always a well mannered, humorous, helpful young man. On behalf of myself and my family in Canada we would like to give our condolenses to Ms. Monica who has lost her baby and will feel this loss the most. And to the rest of family and freinds to whom Deportee was loved by find some comfort in knowing that Deportee was a child of God and it's with him that he now looks down on us.

Richard Deportee was a very ambitious, humble,kindhearted,loving and progressive youth who had so much to live for.

Can anyone say when is the funeral and which church will it take place.

Body will be lye in state at the WilliamsField SDA Church on Sunday, May 3rd at 1:00 p.m.

It seems whenever an accident happens in Jamaica, there is very little chance of survival. Do you think our hospital system and emergency vehicles need some serious improvement? After all, Jamaica is a beautiful place, much improvement over the years, but we tend to overlook the essentials----How quickly does an ambulance come to the seen? Hospitals are far apart and the roads are bad. It seems each community should raise funds and try to upgrade things seeing that the government does not see what is needed for good quailty of life. Having the mansions without quality of life is useless. I am sure many deaths could have been prevented if we have the medical resources.

dont mean to be rude here.but if them would stop the speeding on the road there would be less death.it have nothing to do with the hospital or the ambulance services.

This death had nothing to do with speeding.An accident of such multitude should not have been treated at Black River hospital, instead he should have been air lifted to another hospital equipped for his injuries.Thank you.
