We must stop and think that crimes are committed all over the world. Just last evening a mother's son was shot and killed in Queens, NY. A mother saw her son all sprawled out on the ground. The news said he was a good man, a good father and a good son, a hard working, handsome man.

This is sad. I have a 19 year old son and I cannot even imagine the pain of the parents. Dear God, the people need to change their hearts!! "Behold, I stand at the door and knock..." God is there waiting. We cannot pray for those killers to stop. they knnd to be shown love at a young age and respect for life.-----no church prayers can help them. God is there waiting, they have to allow him in. Beautiful Jamaica. I am so scared of my homeland.

Brother G, my plant teacher, had a young neice that was killed recently in Ja. I was saddened to hear of yet another.

Mind gossip about satanic churches and blood sacrifice. Harmless old ladies and natural healers were burned alive in many places a few generations ago because of hysteria spread by rumour. Remember the coffin with Johncrow asking "Where is Mr Brown" many years ago. Everyone know someone who saw it! I never heard it from an eyewitness.

There are certainly some with mental problems that need attention. A climate of fear and mistrust combined with our lack of educational and health resources makes things worst.

I would be careful as to what I believe coming from the X News. This isn't exactly the most factual paper in Jamaica.
