In a recent meeting of the BREDS committee, a conversation was had on the invaluable contributions of certain citizens of the community. As a result, BREDS decided to honor these members.

The first person to be honored is Alfred Ward in his capacity of Justice of the Peace for many many years.



The second person to be honored is Daisy Smith (Miss P.T.) who was the Grade 1 teacher at the Sandy Bank Primary School for 60 years.



We are sincerely grateful to both Mas Fred and Miss P.T. for playing such important roles in the development of this community.

These are the first two persons to be honored. We will keep you informed of more awards to be given in the future.

What a wonderful gesture. These both deserve any praise given to them as they have really worked hard for the development of Treasure Beach. Its really great to see Ms PT looking so good.
