Im going to Sandals Whitehouse in November. I am wondering how far away Treasure Beach is from there and approximately how much it would cost in taxi fare. If I wanted to go to Pelican Bar how would I get there?

Treasure Beach is just under a 1 hour drive from Sandals. There are a few different ways to get to Pelican Bar from Sandals.

Mim, the Pelican Bar is so great you may want to stay there all day. I would suggest you come to Treasure Beach by car (or taxi or van). Once you're in Treasure Beach I'd suggest you go up the Black River in the morning and hit the Pelican Bar at lunch time. Have lunch and hang out there for several hours. Bring your bathing suit, a coverup, and some water shoes so you can walk around the outside of the bar. If you have a snorkel and flippers bring them too.
