The point is, it's happening everywhere!
Call it the Globalisation of Crime.
Check out the panic in little St. Lucia, where a man was shot dead on a sidewalk in the capital, Castries, in broad daylight. With a populaion of 168,000, they are averageing 36 murders per year, with seven killed so far this year. Take no comfort for Jamaica from the fact that we have 'company'. Just part of the global reality.
It has to be tackled everywhere.
And, by the way, give me Jamaica, any day, rather than cities such as New York or London.
