With the Internet being what it is today, and in light of some work-permit scams that some locals have got caught up in, I have to admit I was suspicious of this post when I first saw it.

But after doing some Google searches it seems they've been around for a while and are a real outfit.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

IMG/International Models Group and other so-called
model/talent agencies do national competitions like this Hollywood promotion. Few reputable national or regional modelling agencies partake. Would urge looking beyond the Hollywood name/ hype and proceeding, if at all, with real caution,
regardless of whether an outfit has been around for some time or not. Trophies are awarded;some talent scouts attend. But the value is questionnable, given the up-front expenses.

P.S. Bob Eubanks (former host of 'The Newlywed Game' and other 70s quiz shows) is host at this
event. Paulie Shore was a previous judge. That should be all you need to know to make an informed decision...

Hollywood is now referring to the Caribbean as "The Hidden Talents" They are in awe of the models from T&T, the drummers and dancers and Jamaica's vocalist and actors!! The symphonic band from Haiti and our Instrumentalist of the World in the junior division for 2006 Nadje Leslie who after WCOPA represented Jamaica at CARIFESTA in Trinidad!!If you google Nadje Leslie you should see info. on her and she also has a great website.
We have raw talent and original talents.Let us showcase the Caribbean and these contestants are also Ambassadors for our Islands.We at the same time try to sell our Islands to the many visitors present!!! Of course for this year I will be very busy selling Treasure Beach!!!

What a surprise!! I could never imagine that someone could speak negatively about the World Championships, I was there, I performed, I enjoyed myself thoroughly, and best of all I got 3 gold medals, I am going back this year, and I know this time ill be getting a scholarship, this is the best thing, its a launch pad for aspiring artistes and dancers, (like me) DONT LET ANYONE CRUSH YOUR DREAMS, LIFE IS A RISK, AND WE JUST HAVE TO TAKE RISKS, YOU'LL NEVER KNOW, THE PROOF OF THE PUDDING IS IN THE EATING, TRY IT, ITS WORTH WHAT IS COSTS!!
