Paula P.P. was in a car accident this week outside of Boston. She's in the Boston Medical Center with two compound broken arms.

We're asking everyone to send their healing energies.

Hi, Tom. I've only met Paula over the phone, but have heard enough good stories about her and her work.

Hope she's getting what she needs and heals quickly.

Oh Paula!!!! Please get well soon! I will certainly be thinking of you and sending you healing energies. Some of my fondest memories in Treasure Beach involve hanging out with Paula...we would walk out to the point on the rocks (when cutting across from Treasure Beach Hotel to Seewind) and chant at the top of our lungs into the wind. It was truly liberating. Paula has a way of making people cut loose.

How's your son doing? I can only imagine how grown up he must be.

Please get well soon!

Much love to you!
Miss Amy

Paula, please get well soon!

HOLD ON

There have been times in my life
when all seemed lost.
Life just wasn't worth living
through another day.
Then you need to remember things
that are important to you.

For as low as we fall there is always
something or someone, somewhere,
to help pull you back
from the deep pits of darkness.
Once you feel yourself slipping
grab on to that something or someone.

We wonder why life has given us such
a bad deal. This is not to question.
Love, Hope and Faith will guide us.
Look around and find the things
you need to live for.
If we look hard enough,
we will find the place we need to be.

Hold on for your loved ones,
hold on for yourself.
...Make the most of what you have.
Give the most that you can,
love the best you can,
And never lose hope.

Each morning you wake up
Thank God you are still alive,
to live another day to find your way.

Life is truly worth living for, if you look.
Find that place you need to be
And just hold on.

Ann Taylor

Paula started The Black River Project in 1993. Check out their website to find out the amazing work this project has accomplished not only in Jamaica but worldwide.

This whole project started after Paula visited Treasure Beach and fell in love with the area.

Paula, all of your Treasure Beach family are wishing you a speedy and full recovery. May this be a time in your life when the kindness and generosity you have given to others over the years will come back to you.

Hi Paula-

We are sorry to hear of your accident. We hope you are doing well and that the healing process is quick.

It has been awhile since our dinner and bonfire at Doubloon with the crew, that was a fun night and hopefully it won't be long until you are well enough to get back to Treasure Beach. Now there would be a good place to recuperate :-)

Sending "get well wishes" from Canton,

Meredith, Tod, Debbie, and Bill (Rebecca's BIL)
