Departs Montego Bay at 5:00 am and 4:30 pm daily

Premium service includes fully a/c buses, comfortable seats, newspaper, bottled water etc.
A great service for those who can't afford to charter a taxi or is not comfortable going to the bus park in Downtown Kingston.

so what is the exact route of this service?

The article in the Observer said that the bus will take either the north coast route or the south coast route depending on the roads. I saw a copy of the article on the Lonely Planet discussion board.

The observer article I read says it will vary depending on traffic conditions, can be eithr A1 or through Mandeville, etc. on the southern highway. That second route would be handy for TB goers....

Anyone have any more info on this? I will be travelling from Kingston to TB in early July and was wonder if this service would make a stop in TB. This would definately ease up on the wallet insead of taking a route taxi. Thanks!!

If one's schedule allows, it seems like an amazing deal for those of traveling to TB alone, especially.

Just an update, it appears they have added MBJ, presumably the airport, to Luana, just north of Black River, for $1700J.

The south coast route from Sav to Kingston does stop at Luana, Santa Cruz and Mandeville too. I took that this spring to Kingston and then from there on to MoBay a few days later and it dropped us at the airport.

What's the going rate for a charter taxi from Luana or Sant Cruz to TB?

take a bus (van style) from mobay to santa cruz for $500
buses leave bus park when they are full not a a set schedule
from santa cruz take a taxi to black river then take a taxi to treasure beach
if you come from town (kingston) take the bus to santa cruz, then black river to treasure beach, not sure of the fare but i know that route taxi is less expensive than knutsford express,
a private driver from town to treasure beach can be very costly
