Shakespear's cottages are also charming, in an excellent location, fair price, and the Lewis family are wonderful people. Their new cottage includes a lovely kitchen, and the balcony upstairs view of the sunset is awe inspiring. The back porch view of the pond is a bird lover's dream. And perhaps little Sonia will befriend you, as well!! We stayed there almost a month and plan to return next year for longer. Tell them Tom and Jeanie said "HI" Tom and Jeanie

Shakespear is nice. My husband & I stayed in the little one room cottage at the back twice. It was clean comfortable & private. I haven't seen the new rooms yet. We enjoyed watching the animals by the pond. I would recomend Shakespear Cottage and would stay there again.

Other places I have stayed in (twice each) and would recomend (and stay in again) are Irie Rest (Billy's Bay). And Viking's House (Great Bay).

All of the bays have something to offer.

If you just want a lovely private getaway, Unforgettable can't be beat.
I like Rainbow Tree Villa as well, close enough to walk to some local bars/stores and still has a pretty secluded beach.
MarBlue or Sunset is great for hotel type accomodations. I also understand 4m cottages has great rates, but I have not personally stayed there. I did however notice last time I was there in December, that it appears they do now have AC in the rooms.

Rainbow Tree and Unforgettable are my 2 favorites, and the choice depends on what you want to do when there. Both have great staff and drivers. you will leave both feeling like you now have relatives in Jamaica.
(Amen, Miss Laura, Miss Verlin, Miss Jen, We miss you. Rambo, Ann and Jem, I hope to see you guys soon as well)
