Morris' shop usually carries Diet Coke (in the large bottles). It just depends upon whether or not he's gotten his delivery.

Come to think of it, I am not aware of ever being able to buy Coke in Jamaica - anywhere. It has always been Pepsi. Am I right or wrong or, just plain unlucky?

Wrong. Or unlucky. (I admit it's more difficult to find, but it's there.) Super Plus in MoBay always has it -- if you remember to stop on the way from the airport.

Rum and Coke is a popular bar drink. I,m surprised to hear Coco Cola is not available in a place like Treasure Beach where so many guest houses are and the traffic of visitors are plenty.Someone please stock up because that is my favourite soft drink and I'm coming soon.

Are you going to Treasure Beach or Florida????
I suggest drinking coconut water, freshly made limeade, a very nice orange juice in a carton (made in Jamaica). What's with the cola obsession when there is all that lovely fresh stuff??

I'm a diabetic and so must search out sugar free beverages. I had no problems during our recent trip and I must say I've never tasted anything better than the Diet Bigga line. If you can find some Diet Bigga Natural Grapefruit, you won't look for Coke or Pepsi products. The diet V-8 Splash line is also very tasty. You know the saying, "When in Rome...."
You may find what you're looking for easier while in MoBay though.

My niece is type 1 diabetic and a soda junkie. I hate to see her taking in all that artifical sweetner, but it's a small pleasure when you have to watch everything you take in!

The diet V8 Splash is yummy! ;)

Darlene, if you must have diet coke, I suggest you stop at the Superplus and stock up on your way in. Small shops don't have the space to carry a lot of variety.

BTW, did you now that there are now flavored beers that are NO carb NO sugar?

Trying to think of the brand names, but I'm sure they're NOT available in Jamaica.
They're along the lines of Smirnoff Ice, etc...

Budweiser also has a no-carb BEER. Michelob Ultra I think.

But back home, check your local Liquor store. Bigger stores carry more variety.
I believe one is put out by Bacardi??
