Hello, I am planning an upcoming visit to the southcoast, a first time there after many trips to Jamaica.

A question; If I am going to Billy's Bay, which is the best route to take from past Black River? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. I am quite excited to explore the area as it sounds like my kind of place!

There's pretty much only one way from Black River to Billys Bays and that is continue east and ask questions or look for signs directing you to Treasure Beach. Hope i help a little or if not hope someone else will be better able to explain.

as far as I know there is one little road, leading into Billyīs Bay , you have to turn right before Hopewell and it goes via Fort Charles, itīs not in a very good condition, but possible and local people have to use it, tourists donīt, I think...

You can find directions to Treasure Beach in the FAQ section. If you are a first timer, I would recommend the route given in the FAQ section. The route to Billy's Bay via Ft. Charles is a bit more complicated, although a beautiful drive. Maybe you could drive out that way.

Thanks all. I told her when we went (in 2003!) we took "the second left" but with the storms I wasn't sure if that was still the best way to go.
