Are there any out of season offers on rooms rates in Treasure beach so that a family can come and try something new?

Most everywhere has summer specials advertised on their ads/websites.

Just check out their ads on the Where to Stay section and see.

I am always wondering who told us,that the season ends 15.April?how comes that in Mexico, area Cancun ,other Islands, the price goes up in July and August!they have 2 season and one mid season, only October ,they call it off season, and why drop rates so dramaticly?the costs are the same or even higher, because the aircondition,so,rates up in july and august,

Rental prices (and airline fares) have to do with supply and demand more than anything else. People seem to want to travel to a warm climate when it is cold where they live, so rates are higher when it is cold where most of our guests live.

Christmas and New Year's weeks usually have the very highest rates because they are so much in demand.

We (and virtually everyone else in Jamaica) lower our rates from about May 1st to about December 15th because the demand for rooms is usually lower. Interestingly, a lot of people with children wait until the summer to vacation because that's when the children are out of school; we are already reserved for a lot of the summer.

Even though utilities might be higher during the summer months, we think it's better to have our villas full instead of empty.

We are returning at the end of this month (so excited)and our son and his family are coming with us. We wondered what to expect with sea and weather conditions?

I think it depends on the country where you live. Here in the UK the flight prices are cheaper in the winter months except of course when it is the Bank Holidays, Christmas, Easter, Spring Bank and August Bank. Our summer holiday season is from June until the end of September and I think this is the same in Europe. Any time when the schools are on holiday the flights are expensive, this Easter the flights were £1,000!

So you have to really love TB to come now as to book a flight, taxi to and from airport and accommodation it is very expensive from the UK.

There is no way that Treasure Beach can compare to Mexico, in term of tourism seasons because of the added cost of transfers. If rates were higher in the summer, there would be far fewer people coming.
Many people are like me and looking for ways to cut costs when coming to JA. Supply and demand dictate prices and much of JA is wide open in the summer months. Every hotel in Negril is cheaper in the summer with many under $100.00 USD.
It also seems to be a trend in the last few years that the more expensive restaurants are looking for even more money. That attitude keeps me away. I can live with less ambiance and leave with a heavier wallet.

Sorry not true, maro 22,the little island of Holbox, with a mix of high end and very budget hotels( we stayed in a small hotel with only 6 rooms and paid 49ues incl. Aircondition) are full from dec to april and again june july and august, the same in belize, transportcost vary from 110 to 140 per one way,for two!,like here,so what is going wrong?I asked this question a lot of people in the industry no answer!?!?and did you check the hotels under 100,did you read the reviews in tripadvisor?we all have to work on a second season!just do nothing is not the answer, all the best,
Ps the pricewar in negril will hit them, because there is no leftover money for decent renovations!

I think a summer high season is very reasonable goal especially as Karen points out, that is when families can most easily travel.

Some people get nervous about hurricane season, but June-July not such an issue.
