We would like to thank the Cabana family from Glastonbury, Connecticut who brought down over 60 pairs of children's sneakers and football boots and donated them to the Sports Park.

1

They have been collecting them from various friends and organizations previous to their trip and brought them down with them.

2

Thanks again to the Cabana family for all your efforts and this very generous donation!

In the pass I have brought clothes and donated them to my Jamaican friend church. I had to stop because I was always having problems with Customs at the airport. They said I had to go though the proper channels and get the proper papers for donations. It was all to much of a hassle so I stopped doing it.
I wonder if this kind family had any problems with donating these shoes ?
ONE LOVE !!
Mike

We didn't have any problems, we just checked the bags at the airport like they were our normal luggage. We told them we had donations as we asked them to waive the $25 per bag fee but they couldn't. So it cost us $50 to bring over 60 pairs of shoes, not bad! Much cheaper than doing it via mail.
