I am at a loss! as to how some children when they go abroad, they forget their parents back a yard. I am sure this will be a great topic to discuss.

I'm at a loss myself. Only I wonder why others feel it necessary to discuss other people's affairs..

I totally agree with Inquisitive. We need to discuss more positive vibes and leave people's business alone. I do not see anything constructive coming out of this. If there are those who have relatives who are guilty of this and they feel that it needs to be addressed then they should take it someplace else. Please do not air your dirty laundry in public.

At some point dirty laundry may smell so high that hiding it does not work, it gets even stinkier and the public draws their own conclusions.

Private resolution works where there is openess and honesty and when the public has no business being involved. Sometimes public discourse shows us that a dilema is a common one and some may benefit from the excercise.

Becoming a parent does not enable sensitivity or wisdom when these are lacking.

A family unit is never a legitimate public interest turey. The exception is if the family itself, AS A UNIT, is involved in public affairs. In that case the family becomes fair game for gossip, innuendo, ridicule, praise, or whatever sentiments the public heaps on it. Any other circumstance is just ole neaga putting their nose where it doesn't belong. In that case, nosey parker deserves a real brown nose, if nothing else, from getting so close to other people's dutty clothes.

Yes Inquisitive, or if the family becomes collectively involved in some antisocial activity that brings the public eye to a private matter. The once never aired abuses that occur in some families are now getting a good sunning, mostly not motivated by faasness, but by the application of fairness and care that we new neaga bring to the table.

one thing I always give my mother thanks for is for the nine months she have carry me and my dad for been a part of who I am,for only that you should take care of your parents.and when they die we get the big band and the most expensive casket.

Maybe the children are strugling too. Money is not always easy to come by because you are abroad. Sometimes there are false impression. There are some deadbeat dads too.

Not to pick on you turey, but antisocial behaviour was not the original topic. The poster simply mentioned the relationship between children and parents. Sly and The Family Stone would say "it's a family affair". I done.
