The Treasure Girls won their second match in the Women's Cricket League Competition played against the Wrayletts at Maxfield Park in Kingston yesterday.

The Treasure Girls were asked to bat first and they made 245 runs for 5 wickets declared. Chedean Nation getting 88 and Toni Greaves 61. Bowling for Wrayletts Elaine Cunningham 2/49.

In reply Wrayletts were bowled out for 38. Bowling for Treasure Girls: Petagay Hanson 5/13, Holly Stephenson 3/2.

For those of you who may not be familiar with cricket scores, just think if this was a final score in a basketball game, 245 to 38 and you will understand what was accomplished yesterday.

Our next match will be played at our home ground of the Treasure Play Sports Ground on Sunday, February 22. We will be playing New Berry who came in a close second to the Treasure Girls in the league finals last year. This will be the match to watch! We look forward to all our local supporters coming out to cheer on The Treasure Girls.
