I had the great pleasure of attending (what we thought would be) the finals of the Jack Sprat Football Tournament held at the Sandy Bank School. Since the beginning of November, 17 teams from South St. Elizabeth have participated in this tournament. The 4th place finish went to the Great Bay Vets and 3rd place to Round Hill Generation Gap.

The Ultimate Force from Great Bay and The Rocks from Newell battled it out for the victory, however, the match ended in a draw of one all during overtime play due to darkness. The final match is now scheduled for 4:00 on Sunday, February 8 and will be played at the Epping Forest field.

I was so happy to see the amount of spectators present on Sunday. I think half of Treasure Beach was there. What a perfect way to spend a Sunday evening!

Good luck to our own Great Bay Ultimate Force as they fight for the championship on Sunday!

The Newell Rocks are now the winners of the Jack Sprat Football Tournament as the Great Bay Ultimate Force forfeited the match.
