Koriann South the newly crowned Mini Miss
Jamaica will be hosting a Family Fun Day this Saturday Jan. 29, at Sunset Resort & Villas in Treasure Beach, entry is free, and rides are free, all proceeds from food and drink sales will go towards one of four charity projects Koriann is currently working on in the community & parish, Please bring yourself or the family and come out and support her efforts to make St. Elizabeth a better place.

What charities will be helped?

Hi Jafan there is a picture of her in the Whats New section at the bottom of the forum. She is still our little girl ! We are proud of her,

The fundraising for this event is steered towards the Barbary Hall Basic School, Koriann has met with them already, the next 3 fundraisers she has planned are for the Mannings Boy's Home, and the Santa Cruz Infirmary
Her goal is to donate 50,000.00 JMD to each. These donations are actually one part of the overall responsibilty of being the Mini Miss Jamaica, as this is the kind of thing that past reigning pageant winners have done. The press will be there when these donations are made to each of the institutions. These are excellent choices Koriann has made to doante to, and she appreciates all who help her to reach her goals.

The Fun Day was exactly that . . . great fun! Lots of children showed up to support this good cause. Congratulations Koriann and wishing you continued success with raising money for these worthy causes.
