WOW! I can't even imagine!! No snow here, but it sure looks like lots of rain heading our way . . . again.

I've never seen Treasure Beach looking so lush and green!

Had to turn the AC on today for the first time this week over here in Texas as it got back into the 90s F (mid 30s C).

We could sure use the rain that TB is getting, in case you're getting tired of it down there. Just make sure it isn't frozen when it arrives :-).

Hey Beth, it is called clitoria vine and grows like wildfire (at least with all this rain!). Anytime you are ready just come on by and I can give you a cutting.

Okay, can somebody turn the faucet off now?!?!? We had a very loud night filled with thunder, lightening and heavy rains. Raining as I type and this satellite image is not encouraging me to get out the sun tan lotion.

I drove up to Crossroads yesterday evening and water was already collecting on the road in the usual places, so I am sure after last night's rain the roads will start to flood again.

The canal has been flowing since Tuesday's rains.

Green and lush. Lots of flowers blooming and grass growing! The beaches took a beating but the sand is already coming back at a fast pace!

We all feel quite grateful and blessed that this hurricane season treated us so well. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with our Hatian neighbours.
