You might check out Sandy Tatham. She's a licensed real estate agent who represents property in the area. She also owns Blue Marlin guest house in Great Bay. E-mail her at sandy@cbjamaica.com or find her properties on www.cbjamaica.com or call her at 876 -855-1122 ( I presume she won't mind the call if it means potential business ).

Sandy has 4 properties listed. [edited by TB.net]I suggest going on an MLS site, where you can see ALL properties listed, no matter who has the listing.

If you need a good real estate lawyer you can make contact with Stephen Johnson of the law firm of Johnson & Downer. He is based in Kingston but operates out of Malvern every Thursday. 862 8087

With all due respect looking.....

Do you think that if a local person shows you a property that is for sale and assists you with getting in with the vendor that you will not be expected to compensate him or her for their time and effort and whatever other expenses they incured?

Let us know how that goes, alright? :-)

You as a buyer do n ot pay a commission! Seller does! From a sellers point of view, you can list it locally and have maybe, if you are lucky, a couple hundred people know about it. List it through the MLS, and the RIGHT company (Not necessarily just the one talked about) and you literally can have millions of people know about it. Now which scenario do you think will bring you the most money? That is also why if someone is selling they should list it as an EXCLUSIVE and not a NON EXCLUSIVE.
