Can anybody tell me what TREE the sticks are from, people in TB use to make fish pots? Thanks much.

I remember hearing my father mentioning Soft Wood and Snake Wood. I also believe Casha wood was used. We used to cut them in the Great Bay hills.

I've heard it called Rod Wood, but that may be the local Jamaican name for it, not the botanical name.
