I would like to pay for credit on my friend's phone in Jamaica and I am in foreign.
I am wondering if anyone here has done that in the past and what their experience was. Did you go thru Digicel and pay online with a credit card, or are there other ways available.
Any help or input would be appreciated as I am missing my friends and need to chat with them on a daily basis.
I have done this online with no problems. Today only you will get double credit.
I live in Canada and some of the Jamaican restuarants sell digicel cards.
I use https://www.ezetop.com/us/en/default.aspx. I also use it to keep my Jamaica Digicel number live by sending down $5USD/month. When I get to Jamaica, my phone is ready to use.
"Keeping In Touch"....Depending on where you are in Canada, there is a phone place in Brampton, Ontario where you can walk in and top up your digicel/C&W phone, you can also unlock your Canadian phone there and get a Jamaican chip, so while in Ja. you don't have to use anyone's phone, you can use your own phone and have your number ready to go. All that is done at the store. Other than that, yo can do it online, so far haven't heard anyone complain.
Thank you everyone for your responses.
