Treasure Beach Foundation awards both full and half scholarships. If a student on half scholarship does particularly well, they have an opportunity to have the amount of their scholarship increased. This is a reward for the results of their continued diligence.
Based upon the outstanding work done by several of our scholarship students in the past year, our Board of Directors voted to increase our level of support for Stefano Hynes (going into second form at Munro), Dave Lloyd (starting fourth form at Munro), Timara Taylor (going into third form at Hampton), and Kemelia Lyons (entering grade 8 at STETHS).
Kemelia Lyons’ grades were the highest of any of our scholarship students for the past year, so we wish to offer her a very special congratulations for her achievements.
Also, several of the parents at the meeting offered items which will be included in our 2010 Villa Raffle. Without these kinds of contributions, I know we would not have nearly as much participation in this annual fundraising event.
I wish to thank all those who contribute to our scholarship fund. Your donations and purchase of villa raffle tickets enable us to continue to provide educational opportunities and reward academic excellence in Treasure Beach.
Congratulations to all. I am sure they are well deserve. Special Big up the Munronians. Keep it up.
Excellent Kemelia. We are exceedingly proud of you. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations to all the other fine scholars in this wonderful program.
A big up to each and every student who won a scholarship. Do us all proud as you start your new school year on Monday!
I can't believe they have matriculated to higher forms and grades already. Time truely flies. I am extremely proud of Dave, Tamara, Kimelia and Stefano. It is a pleasure to know such bright young people. Continue on the path of excellence.
