I have been to Jamaica and TB several times throughout the year but have never visited in the Summer. Can anyone tell me what the weather is typically like say during the month of July, of course I know that it is hot but is it windy, rain fall, is the sea rough, are mosquitos worse this time of year. Just curious to know for future visits.

With respect. Thank you.

July can be windy and breezy. The breezes are wonderful for cooling things down. The sea can be rough due to the breezes. However, I've also seen July's with some calm seas.

I must mention, it is hurricane season, although we "typically" do not get bad hurricanes in July.

Is July considered "Summer" in Jamaica?

Though some of us may consider Jamaica to be in a permanent summer** :-) it is north of the equator so it shares the same months as the US, Europe, etc.

** those would be people who never lived up in the Munro/Malvern area where it gets down into the 50s and 'frost' is a concern. Brrr!
