Every day for the last week that I have passed Miss Olive's home I've seen the elves busy at work getting the yard ready! I stopped by yesterday to check in on the progress.

It seems they tried to have the grand lighting on Monday night, but some of the lights weren't working. But don't worry, I saw Mr. Roche (our electrician) about 3 yesterday afternoon and he was on his way to Miss Olive's to fix the problems!

I assume the grand lighting was last night, but unfortunately didn't make it there to see for myself. I will be there one of these nights as I just love to look on all the lights and gadgets they have in the yard. It really is unbelievable!

Unbelievable once again this year! You just keep looking around and seeing new things lit up! I love the Santa and sleigh on the roof with the reindeer that all move their heads.

The children's favorite, by far, is the dancing and singing Santa. He was great entertainment and had us all singing and dancing along with him.

There is a crowd gathered here every night to come and see the house all lit up. What fun!
