Bamboo Avenue Located along the main A2 road between Lacovia and Middle Quarters, Bamboo Avenue is a picturesque two and a half mile stretch of bamboo trees which arch to form a natural tunnel. Planted in the early 1900's to provide a respite from the hot sun for the sugar cane workers of Holland Estates, today it is a favorite spot for coconut and peanut vendors to ply their trade. Stop and enjoy a refreshing coconut water while snapping a few pictures of this famous attraction.
