SALLY HENZELL, creator of Jakes has been dabbling in art since day one. First off, created in the nursery a plastercene village reminiscent of Treasure Beach. Painted in water colours at Hampton School, Malvern. Studied window dressing. Graduated to booths at Trade Fairs; film sets: interiors. Designed and built first house at age 40. Started building at Jakes age 50. Been building, painting, photographing and writing ever since. Poems published in 4 Anthologies: one book - Paper Images.
