Transportation:
There are several options for getting to and around Treasure Beach including tour operators and taxis, car and motorcycle rental, and public transportation.
Prepare yourself: One of the most expensive parts of your trip will be the cost of transportation. Why? Start with a stiff tax for all vehicles and parts entering the island, expensive gas, insurance, etc... and you can see how owning and operating a taxi is costly.
You do have options, however.
- Need only airport transfers and one or two tours? Hiring a driver may be your best bet.
- Want the flexibility to explore on your own? Renting a car or motorcycle probably makes the most sense.
- Minding every dollar? Public transportation will get you where you need to go.
