Situated a few feet from a sheltered sandy beach, Folichon, a four-bedroomed villa, is the ideal place for a tranquil holiday. Folichon, designed and built in the 1930's by the Count de Baleban (a white Russian émigré) and Madame Melas (his millionairess adoptive mother), retains its original Art Deco style and furnishings. It was modeled after the design of the count’s family’s dacha on the Black Sea and gets its unique name from archaic French for "a whim". Two bedrooms, one bath, a dining area and kitchen form one section of the villa while two bedrooms, one bath, living room and verandah complete the other section. The two are connected by an elegantly arched walkway.
