"Alter your life by altering your attitudes."
~William James~
Kye Nam,
Have you replaced Ms. Honeygan?
Yes I too was wondering if Kye Nam replace Glasceta. Even though I enjoy reading you thoughts.
"When one door closes, another opens, but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."
~Alexander Graham Bell~
"We always attract into our lives whatever we think about most, believe most strongly, expect on the deepest level, and imagine most vividly."
Shakti Gawain

Ms. G. Honeygan, can you please, at least, say hi to us and let us know that you are ok.
"The real seeker of peace need not seek it inexorably. To the contrary, he tries to clean himself of all that is disordered, hostile, insincere—and when his heart is ready, purified, peace comes. You cannot go after it. It comes to you in small unobtrusive morsels, to a peace-prone, peace-sensitive heart; and when you align yourself with God—whose peace excels all thoughts—you become full to overflow of priceless peace…peace to withstand any future adversity."
~Kye Nam~
"Often we allow ourselves to be upset by small things we should despise and forget. We lose many irreplaceable hours brooding over grievances that, in a year's time, will be forgotten by us and by everybody. No, let us devote our life to worthwhile actions and feelings, to great thoughts, real affections and enduring undertakings."
Andre Maurois, 1885-1967
French Author
"There comes a moment when you realize that virtually anything is possible - that nothing is too good to be true.”
Kobi Yamada

Not to worry, Kye Nam is a pseudonym. Gratefully, Ms. Honeygan is still very much with us.
And if I may say, thank you Kye Nam for the quote from Andre Maurios. We all need to remember this more.
I think I figure it out now - Kye Nam is Ms. Honeygan.
"When you get into a tight place, and it seems you can't go on, hold on, for that's just the place and time that the tide will turn."
~Harriet Beecher Stowe~
"For better or worse, our future will be determined in large part by our dreams and by the struggle to make them real.”
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
American Psychologist
"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us, or we find it not."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson~
Kye Nam,
Keep up the good work. I do appreciate your daily devotion. It is short, sweet and to the point, instead of Ms. Glasceta, which was a bit long and drawn out. I hope you will be a permanent fixture to the forum
Honest Comment
I agree with you 100%. I read Kye Nam inspiration every day.
I guess it takes all kinds of different people to make up the world, I have an appreciation for them both. Keep on sending out the inspirations, we need it!
Maybe Ms. Glaceta is the same Kye Nam. Maybe she is laughing at us all with our comments.
There comes a point when you just love someone. Not because they're good, or bad, or anything. You just love them. It doesn't mean you'll be together forever. It doesn't mean you won't hurt each other. It just means you love them. Sometimes in spite of who they are, and sometimes because of who they are. And you know that they love you, sometimes because of who you are, and sometimes in spite of it.

"Though I do not believe that a plant will spring up where no seed has been, I have great faith in a seed. Convince me that you have a seed there, and I am prepared to expect wonders."

When wealth is lost, nothing is lost;
When health is lost, something is lost;
When character is lost, all is lost!

Dear "Honest Comment" & "Observer":
Don't ever underestimate Dr. Honeyghan. She is a combination of talent and modesty. I know for sure that she authors many of the inspirations she has posted on this site, but prefers to remain anonymous. She is capable of posting the long and drawn out stuff for those readers who can embellish the lengthier, more informative material; and she's capable of posting the short, sweet stuff for those readers who can savor the spicy-hot and to the point. Different readers appreciate different genres.
And don't forget--Dr. Honeyghan is quite capable of creating Kye Nam.
In the meantime let's enjoy this forum--a place to take in a delicious thought from great writers such as William Shakespeare and Henry David Thoreau.
