VISION

What's your personal vision?

My what?

Your personal vision - what you see as important, what you most want to
accomplish, what you want to be remembered for, how you want to feel
about yourself. Most of all, have a vision of who you want to be.

Without a vision, how will you see where you want to go?

CELEBRATE

You are alive. Yay!

It is time to celebrate the most important day of your life. No other
day is more important than today - no day in the past, no day in the
future.

You will never, ever experience the past again, although today will
carry on its legacy.

You will never, ever experience the future, until today chooses which
future you will experience...and, by then, the future will be today.

Celebrate today.

TODAY'S DOSE OF INSPIRATION

REALITY CHECK

Someone will always be prettier.
They will also be smarter.
Their house will be bigger.
They will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
And their husband will fix more things around the house.
So let it go, and love you and your circumstances.
Think about it.? The prettiest women in the world can have hell n her heart.
The richest woman you know - -she's got the car, the house, the clothes -- might be lonely.
The WORD says if you have not Love, I am nothing.? So, again, love you.
Love who you are right now and let God be your barometer.
Mirror Him.? Look in the mirror in the morning and see how much of God you see.? He's the only standard and even when you come up short; he will not leave you or forsake you.?
Smile and may God continue to BLESS YOU richly!!
"I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed!"
The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor.
"The one who kneels to God can stand up to anything."
"Winners make things happen.? Losers let things happen."
Be blessed and pass this on to encourage others.
"To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world."

Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.

American Civil Rights Leader

TODAY's DOSE OF INSPIRATION

DREAMS

Ever wonder what a dog would do with that car he chases if he ever caught it?

Many of our dreams are like that. We say "if only I won a million dollars" or "if only he/she would be more cooperative."

But it has been shown that people don't change much when they win a million dollars (some aspects of life might get easier until the money is all gone and friendships might be lost, but not much else changes).
And when someone gets more cooperative, you still have all your own personality traits, strengths and weaknesses; you just have one less person on whom to blame your weaknesses.

Don't spend too much time chasing cars. You just might catch one.

Today's dose of inspiration

Interview With My Creator

I dreamed I had an interview with Almighty God.

"So you would like to interview me?" He asked.

"If you have the time" I said.

He smiled. "My time is eternity."
"What questions do you have in mind for me?"

"What surprises you most about humankind?" I asked.

He answered...
"That they get bored with childhood,
they rush to grow up, and then
long to be children again."

"That they lose their health to make money...
and then lose their money to restore their health."

"That by thinking anxiously about the future,
they forget the present,
such that they live in neither
the present nor the future."

"That they live as if they will never die,
and die as though they had never lived."

His hand took mine
and we were silent for a while.

And then I asked...
"As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons
you want your children to learn?"

"To learn they cannot make anyone
love them. All they can do
is let themselves be loved."

"To learn that it is not good
to compare themselves to others."

"To learn to forgive
by practicing forgiveness."

"To learn that it only takes a few seconds
to open profound wounds in those they love,
and it can take many years to heal them."

"To learn that a rich person
is not one who has the most,
but is one who needs the least."

"To learn that there are people
who love them dearly,
but simply have not yet learned
how to express or show their feelings."

"To learn that two people can
look at the same thing
and see it differently."

"To learn that it is not enough that they
forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves."

"Thank you for your time," I said humbly.

"Is there anything else
you would like your children to know?"

He smiled and said,
"Just know that I am here... always."

TODAY'S DAY OF INSPIRATION

A SHELTER FROM THE STORM: A LETTER FROM GOD’S WORD—THE BIBLE
Dear Child:
Are you experiencing a storm in your life? Are you affected by the frequency and severity of natural disasters brought on by the tsunamis/ hurricanes, by a volcano rumbling, smoking, and spitting out cinders? Or are you plagued by emotional storms brought on by life’s perils, disappointments, and adversities? If so, here’s a list of reminders:

1. I’m your father (Mt 6:9) and I love you (John 3:16)—the more lowly you are, the better (Ps 41:1; Zeph3:12). That’s why I sent my most beloved son to give his life for you (Joh 3:16; Acts 4:12). And I will allow nothing to separate my love for you (Romans 8:38, 39);

2. I’m not only your father (Mat 6:9), but if you let me, I’ll be your friend (James 2:23; 4:4);

3. And remember: Your secrets—even your worst and secret sins—are safe with me; and I’ll forgive and forget (Ps 79:9; 32;1; Isa1;18; Jer 31;34).

4. You are important to me; I have been watching out for you from you were conceived (Ps 139:15, 16), and I’ve been doing it ever since (2Chron 16:9). I’ve even numbered the hair on your head (Ma 10:30);

5. I have a personal name; I encourage you to use it (1 Cor 8:5,6; Mat 6:9, 10; Ps 83:18; Ex 6:2, 3; 3:15; Isa 12:2; 26:4);

6. Talk to me; I’ll listen to your prayers. (Ps 145:18; 1Peter 3:12; John 14:13, 14; 2Co 1:20; 1Jo 5:14, 15). And I am closer than you think ( Ro 1:20; Ja 4:8);

7. Hand me your burdens; I’ll do the carrying (Ps 55:22);

8. I am the GREAT COMFORTER (2Cor 1:4). I see your tears (2King 20:5b) and I’ll wipe them (Re 21:4);

9. Even if your mother and earthly father forsake you, I’ll never leave you (Ps 27:10);

10. CONTRARY TO WHAT IS BEING SAID BY MANY, I’M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUFFERING YOU SEE AROUND YOU—CERTAINLY NOT THE DISASTER-RELATED DEATHS (Pr 29:2;28:28; 2Co 4:4;1 Jo 5:19; Joh 12:31; Ja1:13; Rev 12: 9,12), BUT YOU CAN BE SURE THAT I’LL PUT AN END TO ALL HUMAN SUFFERING (Rev 20:1-3; 21:3,4; Da 2:44; Mt 6:10);

11. I’ll never forget the good you’ve done for me (Heb 6:10); I’ll hide you from calamity (Ps 27:5) and, even if you should die, I’ll remember you and call you from the grave (Joh 5:28, 29; 1Co 15: 20-22; Acts 17:31; Joh11:25);

12. Finally, please do not forget to share this letter; tell others about me (Mt 10:32;28:19, 20;Ro 10:10; Eze 33:7-9);

Thank you. And Remember: Read my letter daily, (Ps 1:1-3) and pray without ceasing (1 Thes 5:17), especially during these critical times hard to deal with (2Tim 3:1-5).

Your heavenly father
