Alfie Blackwood, you are surely a good man and that is why you are a rare breed, R.I.P. Sympathy goes out to the Blackwood family. From Sydney Gayle and the rest of the Blackwood family in the U.S.
The last time I saw Alfie was about three years ago, he offered me a drink which I accepted, after which he impressed upon me the need to drive carefully since I would be making the journey into Kingston alone. I never got to see my friend again. He was one of the kindest, gentlest souls you could ever come in contact with. Truly a man who was born to love his neighbour. I was extremely sad to learn of his passing. Another great soul moves on... and the world is a better place because he passed through it. Sleep on my good friend, God only takes the best. To his family: May God comfort your hearts at this trying time.
