Papa,I don't have any words that express how I feel, there is nothing I can do to fill my heart complete..

You left us without saying goodbye
Tell me what can I do to hold you back in my arms.. just for a while

I remember when I was a little girl, you always told me to be good and make you proud
So you see that's what Im trying to do now..

Your memory is our keepsake. With which we'll never part.God has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart.

I love you papa, you are always in my heart

Prudy

The last time I saw Maas Alburn was at his brother's Stene tomb building, he offered us words of kindness and added cheer to what was an otherwise somber, solemn occasion. I am glad I got to see him, I had not seen him for so long, but most of all I am glad that I get to remember him the way he was on that day, strong and full of life. All the good old people that touched my childhood are going...one by one... The world will become a lesser place because he is gone, but for those who knew him, our lives have been blessed.

On behalf of my mother, Atlin, Clive, Winsome, Everton and Arlene, I offer our sincere condolence to his grieving family and to remind you that God truly comforts us when we mourn.

Papa, its is so hard to accept that you are no longer here, that you have gone from us. But I am comforted in the fact that you had no unfinished business with me. I had a chance to settle all things with you. I thank you for your patriarchal blessing in 2005, I thank you for restoring my honour, my integrity and my status as a woman of God, as your daughter and an heir of the Most High God - equal with men in His eyes, His heart and His trust. You released me to be all that I can be in the Lord and in my life. I am grateful that we had closure. Now your race is run, your fight of faith is finished and your rest will be sweet in the Lord. With all that I am, I love and appreciate you for always being there, for always being my father, a real loving father. Now rest a while Papa, I'll see you by and by!! Your daughter, Zaidie

To Papa, could one of us had held your hand or heard your last farewell, the parting would not have been so sad for those that love you still.Your memories will be our keepsakes with which we will never part,God have you in his keeping we will keep you in our hearts. To know we never said goodbye will always bring regret.A place on the varandah is vacant, which never will be filled.I hope I had told you often just how much you meant to me and how proud I always was of you, for honouring and treasuring the memory of Mama.Thank you my Papa for all you did for your family. So sleep tight Papa, you are now amongst the best.

love always

In response to the query concerning funeral arrangements for my father, the late Mr. Alburn Crowe; as was said previously, we are planning for the funeral to take place on November 4th, 2007 with interment at the Family Burial Plot in Beacon District. All of my father's children, as well as his wife were out of the country at the time of his passing.

However over the next few days, Mrs Audrel and his children will be returning to finalise arrangements for the funeral. We promise to make the details available as soon as we are able to do so and in good time to assist all who would like to attend, to make the necessary plans.

We appreciate your concerns, your support and your kind interest. Thank you to everyone who has posted condolences and who continue to do so.

To my Mummy, Zaidie, I am so sorry that you have lost your father. I may have only seen my grand-dad once, (although he saw me when I was a little baby but I dont remember) but I am just sad that I wont see him again in this life. I was hoping to see him again before he died. But now I look forward to seeing him when the Lord comes to make the earth new and perfect. Then there will be no more dying, no tears, only happiness forever. Rest in peace Grand-dad. To all my aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and Mrs Audrel, I am sorry for your loss but don't worry, Grand-dad is in a better place and we can see him again if we live a life pleasing to the Lord. Love you lots Grand-dad and I will remember you always. Everyone says I look like you and Aunty Cherry. Your grandson, Zac and also love from my brother Christy and my Sis Prudence
