To Glas and family: Sorry to hear of your brother's passing. May God's peace surround you and give you the strength to go through a time such as this. Be encouraged to know that God is not going to take you in the midst of a storm and leave you there, but that He will take you through it. Be comforted with God's peace always.

To Lyn's family, I send this poem:

ONE SMALL ROSE

I would rather have one small rose
From the garden of a friend
Than to have the choicest flowers
When my stay on Earth must end.

I would rather have one pleasant word
In kindness said to me
Than flattery when my heart is still
And my life on Earth has ceased to be.

I would rather have a loving smile
From friends I know are true
Than tears shed round my casket
When this world I've bid Adieu.

Bring me all your flowers today
Whether pink, white or red:
I'd rather have one blossom now
Than a truckload when I'm dead.

In memory of our father, Joseph Robinson (Lyn)

You were a precious gift from God above,
so much caring, grace and love.
You touched our hearts in so many ways,
Even when you cried on those very bad days.
You heard death’s whisper calling you home,
You didn't want to go and leave us alone.
You loved us; you held on tight,
Till all strength was gone, you could no longer fight.
You made peace with God and slowly drifted away,
knowing that we will be together again some day.

PAPA

Papa...so many images come to mind
whenever I speak your name;
It seems without you in my life
things have never been the same.

What happened to those lazy days
when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you
in your love, and in your smile.

What happened to all those times
when I always looked to you;
No matter what happened in my life
you could make my gray skies blue.

Papa, some days I hear your voice
and turn to see your face;
Yet in my turning...it seems
the sound has been erased.

Papa, who will I turn to for answers
when life does not make sense;
Who will be there to hold me close
when the pieces just don't fit.

Oh, Papa, if I could turn back time
and once more hear your voice;
I'd tell you that out of all the dads
you would still be my choice.

Please always know I love you
and no one can take your place;
Years may come and go
but your memory will never be erased
