Both Dassie and Joshie ( the other person deceased in the accident) were friends of mine. Though they were a few years older than me, we developed a kinship that I will always cherish. It was heart breaking to hear of their passing but fond memories of them live on.

To all those wonderful memories of Dassie that continues to live on. Her kindness will always stand out and will never be forgotten. I have a photo of Dassie taken at the Carribean Pentecostal College in Mispah during summer camp and I will always treasure that.
To Jaslyn another kind soul, I will always remember those bike rides, his quiet disposition and his pleasant smiles. So to two wonderful friends may the memories of their smiles continue to bring a smile to our hearts.

Ms Dassie there are a lot of wonderful memories of you. As children you were there when our mother was very ill, sitting by her bed and to us a very kind and easy person to talk with, you had a lovely smile. Its very hard to see our love ones go, but as always god knows best.

RIP; Elena, Brenda, Mitchel, Lloyd & Paul

In Loving memory of Ms Dassie , she was so warm and kind she gave of herself, to everyone. She would always have a big smile on her face, I remember when i was a student of Black River High , how many times i got rescued by her to get to school on time , everyone who lives in Treasure Beach and adjoining communities can relate to this in terms, of how difficult it was to get to school on time because of the lack of transportation back then . She would pass me along with other students on her way to buy ice ,etc. and she would stop and tell us to stay put she will take us to school ,and she sure did, many thanks for that we apprciated that so much.I was in shock when i heard of her passing. So to her family i say keep her memories alive and know that she was loved and missed by all who knew her until today. Keep strong , God bless.{ RIP }Ms. Dassie . nicky {Granddaughter of the Ward Family}
