It was early Sunday morning March 18,2007 when my beloved aunt Nelda Smith passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mrs Smith passed away suddenly and is survived by her husband Donald Smith,4 children Lynneive (Hope), Monica, Donald (Ray) and Collin, 3 grandchildren, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mrs Smith was the child of Samuel and Zieta Dennis and a teacher at the Burnt Savannah Primary School for about 34 years until her retirement in 2005.

Our family is still in shock but know that faith in God shall take us through this difficult time.

Nelda was a very pleasant person to be associated with. It was a pleasure studying with her at Bethlehem Teachers' College. Her positive attitude and her sense of humour will surely stand out in the minds of those of us who knew her. I extend condolence to her family on behalf of the entire Post Certificate batch of 1993-1994.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Mrs Nelda Smith.We are deeply saddened by the loss of your dear one and hope it will strengthen you to know that there are those who care.Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

May her soul rest in Peace and light perpetually shine upon her.
