Another sad news for the Beacon/Treasure Beach/Newcombe Valley area. Another precious soul is gone to rest.

Anyone with more info/details, please post.

This is Ben Moxam (And I'm not sure of his proper first name. He lived in England, returned and has been residing in Newcombe Valley/Watchwell for some years now. He is uncle to Clevert Moxam (Florida) Duken Moxam(Boston/Bluntas)and Effie Campbell, who operates a guest house in Treasure Beach.

I know he is survived by his lovely wife (not sure of her name) and children (by a previous marriage).

I apologise for not having more information at this time. I hope others will read this posting and supply more details.

Many Thanks

Glasceta H. now I know exactly who you are talking about. He was living somewhere in Clarendon or St. Catherine. Sorry to hear about his passing.

Ben Moxam is Uncle to Alvin and Lovina Moxam's children which include Roy, Andy, Kenrick, Tatty, Hernon (recently deceased), Lue, Rodrick and Effie. I only met Uncle Ben twice in Jamaica. The first time I saw him, I asked him if he was a Moxam, specifically Alvin Moxam's brother. We were both thrilled to meet each other. My second time meeting him, he was ill in the hospital and I met his wife. It was as if we were always together. My sympathy goes out to his wife and children. He will be missed dearly.
