Bigga my friend and playmate, you will be missed, how could I erase and replaced our child hood memories, too precious, to sum it all up you was a great friend. May your soul rest in peace and may you find comfort in the great beyond, sleep on my brother, good bye

In loving memories of my friend, Uncle Sam/Bigga of Watchwell. When I heard the news of my friend sudden pasting, I remember those good old days in Watchwell. Bigga was the one who taught us how to make milk can truck, board wheel truck, gig and so many others. Football was our game of sport, with only one ball Bigga would make sure we always had one, so when the ball was down and out he would take the tube out and stuff grass into the belly of the ball and lace it up so we can play ball at Gordontown. You were the glue that held the crew together. Oh yes I remember those afternoons when the crew would be waiting for you either in front of your house, by Simms shop, or at each persons gate so we can walk to Newell school to play ball as usual. Bigga the man of many jokes, you will be missed by your friends overseas and home. My deepest sympathy to the entire Talbert Family of Watchwell. May his soul rest in peace - Gone but not forgotten: Delaney of Watchwell

My sympathy to the family of Bigga Sam.I will always cherish the fond memories of his outstanding ability as a cricketer.A fine batsman and bowler;really a good all rounder. The excitement and thrill that he generates when he got hold of the football is just unforgettable. His jokes made those of us around him cracked up.Certainly,Sam helped to make my days as a school-boy enjoyable.Live on with Thy Creator!
