Many of us in Treasure Beach lost a very dear friend to the sea yesterday. Tony and his partner Decca have been coming to Treasure Beach for many many years and have become a part of our Treasure Beach family.

Tony's love for life was infectious. Everyone enjoyed being around him as his charismatic personality would inspire you and uplift you. His love for Decca and his children was clearly evident the moment you met them. Many of us are grieving deeply for the loss of such a dear friend. And our community is coming together to surround Decca, Jake and Jo Jo with our love and support.

I would like to thank the many who tried valiantly to save Tony putting their own lives at risk. Jason, Michael, Natty, Shugo, Blouser, Damien, Annabelle, Ratty, and more. Thank you to each of you for your bravery and courage.

I'm very sad to hear this terrible tragedy and all my thoughts are for the Community of Treasure Beach at the moment.
I can't imagine the grief and the devastation of mind for this lady... and you, all my friends who live there and those who tried to help the best way you could in this kind of situation... knowing that you cannot count how many times you've been on this beach swimming into that sea... which can take you away...anytime.
Just want to ad that I've been to that place many time last month and I've been warned by you Rebecca and by many people around that current is strong... Also a signal is there to remind you that the Sea is a natural element and sometimes it can be very dangerous...
