In Loving Memory of our Father, Brother, Uncle, and Co Worker , Len Haswell. He was an amazing man, a man of many talents and skill sets. He gave so much of himself, he strived to make people happy, always knew how to bring a smile to your face. He was a brave, strong, and peaceful soul. He suffered many trials, and tribulations in his lifetime and yet has survived them all. From his parents passing away as a teen, an only child, with no uncles or aunties, he went on to become a football player, a construction worker, a building contractor, architect and a great man to be remembered. We miss you Lenny.

Dear friend,

Could you please elaborate some more on who Len Haswell was and how he was connected to Treasure Beach (if he was).

Another great character gone but will not be forgotten. Although it was awhile ago, I can see him now walking up from Golden Sands on his way to Linda's! Condolences to Courtney I know you will miss your father so much.

Most recently Len worked maintaining the grounds at Sunset Resort. He became a friend to many of the guests. So sorry for his loss. May he rest in peace.

How about someone providing an answer to 'Asking'? Announcements like these should be accompanied with details to enable more people to identify who is who. He had no relatives, yet he was a father, an uncle? I know he was all these things to many, but some of us would really like to know who he really was.

In Loving Memory of Len , there will be a Celebration of life for him at 4:00 pm on Sat, June 7th at Sunset Resort & Villas, in Treasure Beach . In answer to asking's questions, there were a lot of unknowns about Len. He was a very private man. He loved soccer, he played in his day in England and coached here in Jamaica at a private School in Santa Cruz, He had lived in Jamaica for 19 years He had many Talents and a lot of Wisdom .

Len was a very unique individual...we knew him for a very long time as James Bond...not sure how that started but we always made a big deal when we saw each other..big wave of hand, grins and hello's to Bond...James Bond. I guess it was the English in him...and we loved it. He was the last of the last to wear his hair in a pompadour...dressed in sans-a-belt slacks, proper shirt and shoes with socks. We'll miss Lenny.

I just heard of Len's passing. During all my years coming to TB, I was always grateful when I could spend time with Lenny. He was a good soul and he did for others. I have some pleasant memories of us sitting by the sea, drinking red stripes, listening to his stories and trying to determine which were true and which ones stretched the imagination. RIP
