Near a shady wall once grew a rose.It budded and blossomed in Gods free light,watered and fed by morning dew,shedding its sweetness day and night.

As it grew and blossomed fair and tall slowly rising to loftier heights,it came to a crevice in the wall,through which shone a beam of light.

The light,the dew,the broadening view, were found in your eyes.Its beauty breathe fragrance more and more. Scattering far and wide just as you did all the days of your life and will forever more in eternity. You were loved and cared for by your Heavenly Father and your four children.

To Natty,Tinkey,Ann and Norka may the gates of heaven open up to reveal strength and comfort,just two weeks ago my dearest mother Celis pass away also, they both were good friends, its hard to loose our love one but lets reflect on these two brilliant inspiring,loving thoughtful,kind individual and find comfort that it was truly a blessing and priviledge having them around for a very long time,which many younger ones have been denied, their memories will always bring a smile to our face and

Miss Ivy, a loving soul, a kind and caring member of the community. I have fond memories of so many interactions with her. A close friend of my mother, she set the pace for a good relationship that blossomed among her children and myself.She made her mark as a hard working lady; a shopkeeper, farmer and a member of the ancillary staff at Newell High school.I cherish the warmth you shared and strive to share your good qualities with others.Her soul will enjoy the glory of the Lord.

Our dear Miss Ivy,you were a dressmaker for the community always sewed the children uniform and made sure you got them on time.She made the best bammy&bammy breads always quick to give us a treat as we visit.There will be a day when there will be no more pain and suffering,the burdens of this world will be no more.Your day has come,we miss your beautiful face and stature in our garden.Sleep in peace.God reigns!

Miss Ivy, you will truly be missed. I feel honored to have known this phenomenal woman. I can recall many fond memories shared with her. She was not only a friend, but also a mother figure, whom I could rely on for sound advice.
Miss Ivy was a very pleasant lady with a great sense of humor. I could always expect a "belly full of laughter" whenever we come in contact. She was a very kind and loving lady who adored children. She was also a very creative and industrious lady, who not only enjoyed crocheting, sewing, needlework, cooking, but was the best at it. Miss Ivy was also a nature lover, who loved the outdoors, animals, gardening and flowers. We shared many moments talking about and exchanging flowers. She was a real homemaker.
If I could use one word to sum up Miss Ivy's life, it would be "balanced". Speaking of balance, she knew how to balance a bicycle...an excellent rider (it was a beauty to see her on her bicycle) .
I could go on and on and on...but let me take this opportunity to wish her family my sincere condolences. Miss Ivy will truly be missed. May her soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon her.
