It is with deep sadness that I have to write about the passing of my beloved baby sister, Miriam. You know that I have loved you with all my heart and I know that you loved me the same. So sleep on beloved.
I love you, but Jesus loved you best.

Although your life was short, I am happy to know that I had a sister like you.

"Miri, I thought the world of you. I will always treasure our Sunday phone conversations and that precious visit we had in Jamaica, Christmas 2010. I am so thankful for the many wonderful years we had together. You were a joy to be around. The sparkle in your eyes could light the darkest corner and your beautiful laughter will live on in my heart. ”
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this sad time. May God give you the strength and courage that you need.

Allison Hill (wife of Oriel Hill)

My deepest sympathy to the family of my BFF (Best Friend Forever)Miriam. Miriam and I goes back as far as our days in Primary School, which she was my defender. Up until her passing she was my sister, best friend and mentor, She was a very kind, loving person anyone would want to be around, she was full of fun and laughter...We would talk three to four times per day, and our conversation would not end without a good laugh...Girl, I'm missing you so bad, but God understand.I know you are resting in peace in the arms of Jesus, away from all pain...I miss you honey, I really miss you...Sleep, sleep and take your rest I love you, but Jesus loves you best...I will always love you Miriam...I will always!!!

When someone leaves our life who was so full of love and kindness our loss is felt deeply. My condolences go out to all who loved Miriam as your loss is great. However, all of us who had the privilege of knowing Miriam have been touched by her and have her as a part of us for the rest of our lives.

This photo was taken at the Christmas Tree lighting at Kingfisher Plaza in 2010. May we always remember that smile.

I am truly saddened to learn of the passing of my former classmate at Sandy Bank Primary, Miriam Hill-Lyttleton. Although it has been many years since we last saw each other I remember her fondly as a caring and friendly person who loved life to its fullest.I recalled the times when the boys used to play baseball(hitting the ball with our hands) with the girls. She was a fierce competitor.I do believe she was a lefthanded person. The world is missing you Miriam!May her family find comfort in the arms of the Lord at this time.

Miriam known to me as Ms Miry was an awesome woman who loves the LORD. I knew the family for over 20 years. I had the pleasure of speaking to and encouraged her to accept the LORD Jesus Christ as personal savior before she went to be with the Lord. I pray that God will strengthen the rest of the family as they recover from this great loss.
" To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
Ms Miry is in a better place. To God be the glory.

My hearfelt sympathy goes out to the family of Miriam. I have so many childhood memories of Miriam when she used to spend time with me at my home in Southfield and our school days at Newell.
I lost touch with her and we met up again in 2010 at Newell High School reunion and we frequently kept intouch and each time she visited Ja, she would visit me at home.
One story that sticks in my mind is when she visited one day and I was showing her around my home and the painter was painting and when he saw her beautiful legs he nearly fell off the ladder.
Miriam your memories will live on and I will keep playing your favourite songs. May your soul RIP until we meet again.

Miriam--we remember you fondly at the anniversary of your passing 1 year ago. Your baby "Lexi" has been a very strong girl this past year in New Jersey. She was sad today but I reminded her that she had 9+ long years with her as her 2nd mom. Cole is now in college and cam is in high school. With warm thoughts, love, and joy that you were a part of our family....Jim, Carisa, Lexi, cole, and Cameron wangsness (1/24/14).
