I am so saddened by the news of Vern's passing. This is such a great loss for the community and people of Beacon. I want to extend my sincere condolences to all his family to include Ms Shirley, Frankie Paul, Burnett, Brenda and her husband Belands. I just wnat you to know that I shared your loss and I pray that the Good Lord will give you all the strength to endure this difficult time.

Our hearts are saddened by the loss of a dear brother, father, cousin, friend who contributed so much time and effort in helping his community. Always ready when called upon. It was just a year ago when we gathered on the verandah having some good family talk after attending the funeral of a family member. Little did we know you would be next, cous. For some of us, on that evening we receive our last hug and our last smile from you. The love and affection you have always shown us will linger in our hearts.
