Norma,God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Numb with the reality I was so confused
Norma we all knew,
that God would soon come to take you.
You fought so hard, so very long,
but through the pain, you stayed strong.
I can’t help but feel defeated,
or even maybe a little cheated.
But how very selfish would I be,
to hope in that pain you could stay with me.
I find myself wishing that it wasn't real
Every time I think about it, pain is all I can feel
Say "Hi" to loved ones waiting on the other side.
I know you'll be there when I take that ride.

BUT
beyond every dark cloud there is a silver lining
and at the end of a dark tunnel there is light
so sail on silver bird, spread your wings and fly, above the clouds, up, up, up and away from earthly pains, disappointments, tears and sorrows.
