While attending church on Sunday Mrs. Sheila Hamilton was surprised to find out she was being honored by BREDS for her lifetime contributions to the community of Treasure Beach.

Many of the BREDS directors were present to present Miss Sheila with this well deserved award. She was also presented with a gift and a lovely cake.

The following were the words on the award.

Mrs Sheila Hamilton

It’s not the wealth that we posses
Nor the heights to which we climb
But the good we do to others
That lives beyond the sky.

A woman of God, integrity and commitment to excellence to giving of her time to the community and to share her gifts and talents with others has served as a guiding principle for a fulfilling life. A straight forward individual is the “iron” woman of unshakable faith in what she believes in.

Miss Sheila as she is affectionately called is one of the hard to find community builders. Her assistance is invaluable and her kindness and thoughtfulness is a balm to a troubled soul. She is trustworthy and one can confide in her, and there she is willing to give her wise counseling and to keep what she is told to herself.

As a Justice of the Peace she can be relied on to give the best service and advice to all those who seek her help. She does this without looking for reward.

The extraordinary woman can be likened to Proverbs 31 verses 20 and 26.
“She stretches out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.”

We the Directors of BREDS Treasure Beach Foundation salutes you as we say thanks for what you have done and what you will continue to do in this community.

By far Treasure beach finest personality, and would encourage treasure beach youths like myself or even younger than me take some time to just sit and talk with miss Shelia. A real woman, always remember her saying " baby mek I tell yu something, if god is for yu, no one ..."

I thought this was my brother's posting but then I remembered he does not have a computer.
If he had one he would give all the praises because she is his very dear friend and was his mom's also.
In saying this I know he could have gone and done it elsewhere but, we spoke and of course it was not him. Many Ebanks around.
