My deepest condolences go out to the family of Miss Lovina. You've all had to bear so much in such a short time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Here is the Profile of the Month with Miss Lovina taken February, 2005.

I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Lovina when taking her photo for the Profile of the Month. She was such a lovely woman. This has been one of my favorite photos I've ever taken. Some of you may have heard of that famous Johannes Vermeer painting entitled "Girl with a Pearl Earring', well I've always thought of this photo as the lovely woman with the pearl earrings. May her soul rest in peace.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Miss Lovina. I never met this remarkable lady but feel as if I knew her because her daughter Tatie and myself have been good friends for nearly 45 years. Tatie always told me about her Mum and the love and respect Tatie has for her Mum is amazing and well earned by this remarkable woman. How I wish I had met her!!!! My sympathy to all her family, she will be sorely missed but has left behind the wonderful people that are her children. May she rest in peace.
