Remembrance is a golden place
Death tries to break
But all in vain

With a precious gift straight from heaven you came with all your glory

From humble beginning to a platform of greatness, you graced us with your love, your wisdom, your charm and touched everyone you encountered with your tenderness and sincerity

And though painful it was to see you go I know a reunion occurred in heaven of the sweetest and most joyful kind when your spirit moved beyond this earth and was reunited in heaven with the ones you loved so dearly

To have, to love and then to part is the greatest sorrow of ones heart

Forever Loved and Missed.

Dear Dad,

At night when the world is fast asleep I lay awake and think of you as I hear the whisper of your words singing in the dark. And with the dawning of a new day I do the same again, for remembering you is easy, I do it in every way.

Your places of comfort where your laughter echoed and your memories still embedded in the walls are now places of the past for me. My only place of visit is at your grave where you are forever linked to the very beat of my heart. And though I miss you terribly and long to see you with deepest grief I am reminded that love is more powerful than death. Because when love is right you see it, when love is right you feel it, and nothing feels more right than the love you gave to your children and grand-children.

Thank you dad for letting your love shine on me. For in life you gave and cared so much that even in your transition you fought vigorously and waited patiently, so I too could have been a part of your final goodbye. That goes to show the character of who you were to your children. For that dad I will forever be grateful to you.

The heights by great men reached and kept
Were not attained by sudden flight,
But they, while their companions slept,
Were toiling upward in the night.

Words cannot express how much I miss and love you. Your words, your Love are still my guide.

Thank you, Thank You, Thank You,Your RAINBOW of memories will forever shine bright in my heart.
Rest in peace dad and may God's perpetual light continuously shine on you.

Forever loved and missed

Your loving daughter Charmaine Buchanan

Grand-children: Camelya, Chantal, Lennon, Jamal, Travis, and Shanika

Great Grand-children: Laila, Leyanna-Jade

One year today we had no choice but to see you leave.
Family, friends and Jamaica lost a treasure, more beautiful than diamonds, worth more than gold.

Often times we must say goodbye to the person we love,
That does not mean that we've stopped loving them or we've stopped caring
Sometimes goodbye is a painful way to say I love you, but I no longer want you to be here in pain

Daddy a.k.a Grandpa your words and your life have been my inspiration.
I have my moments when I cry and ask WHY?
I have my moments when I smile and just sigh.

I treasure more than anything our messages, photos and conversations. Every time I fall into that pit of loneliness and emptiness, I play back our conversations and close my eyes. As I listen to your voice, I almost feel as if I'm back in Jamaica, sitting beside you, still holding your hand. I remember most the smile you had on your face as you spoke about your sweetheart, one could only imagine the reunion that day.

I know one day, I will see that smile again……Gone but not forgotten

Born To Amuse, To Inspire, To Delight
Here One Day and Gone One Night

Like A Sunset
Dying With The Rising Of The Moon
Gone Too Soon

Danny is fondly remembered. I had the pleasure of speaking with him on a couple occassions and was impressed by his humility and easy-going nature. Whatever his accomplishments and/or failures, I came away feeling that I was speaking to someone who pretended to be nothing more than just a regular guy. May he rest in peace.

One year ago we lost an extra-ordinary human-being. One I had the pleasure of working with and I learnt so much from. One who really cared about his family and people at large.

I miss those days when I would call to get his advice on various issues, personal or otherwise.

You will forever be in my heart.

Forever loved and missed Sir!!!!
