We were extremely saddened to hear from Trevor this afternoon that Mass Keith has passed away!

Clara sends prayers for her grandmother Idova, and the whole family at this time, as do I. As I told her (Idova) this afternoon over the phone, she was the best wife Arthur could have ever wished for, she offered her husband support and care through his years of ailing health which I know has not been easy.

We are praying for Ma/Idova and the whole family at this difficult time.

I have very fond memories of my times sitting and reasoning with Mass Keith out back of the house about life in Jamaica and a farrin. He was one of the kindest and wise people I have been lucky enough to call family. Go home to God now dear Arthur - he is holding his loving arms open to you. you have served Him well!!

From Clara:
Grandpa Keith & Grandma Dova: I am sorry I did not get to see you before Grandpa Keith died. I love you both very much! Clara Mae

With love and condolences for the entire James family,

Coralie Waschkowski & Clara Mae James

Treasure Beach is, once again, deeply saddened by the loss of a dear father, family member, and friend. Arthur Keith was a true leader of the community, not in any big or boasty way but in always being available to anyone to listen, giving good solid advice and showing us he really cared. I don't ever recall him complaining and even as his illness kept him from moving around as he would have liked he never complained about his condition and was always still ready with a joke. He most certainly put a smile on the face of just about everyone who came to see him.

Here is the Profile of the Month done on Arthur Keith in April of 2008.

My deepest condolences go out to Miss Idova, their children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

I especially pay my respects to my dear friend and co-worker Debbian James-Mills, granddaughter and to my dear friend Trevor, son to Arthur Keith.

We suffer the loss but Heaven is rejoicing.

Uncle Arthur you are taken away from us, we are all deeply saddened!God knew you were suffering, he said come home my son.I will cherish the memories of you as an uncle! especially those in your last days, I was happy I was at your bedside on a couple visits, I was able to rub your hands and and talk with you. You were so brave you tried desperately to open your tired eyes just to look at me, you nod your head many times to say you recognize me. I don't know if you did but I will hold those memories of you dear to my heart. Sta Idova my thoughts and prayers goes out to you and and all my family be strong uncle is in a better place now.R.I.P.

Our sympathy goes to John and the rest of the James family, on the passing of a dear loved one. He was a very humble soul, I had visited him a few times, and I know he was ready to meet God. May you all find comfort knowing that Mr James is resting in the arms of Jesus. He's free from all his pain and suffering, just remember God has a shoulder to lean on...Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.
R.I.P Mr James.

Our deepest sympathy to my sister-in-law Doreen on the passing of her dad Keith. He's gone home to be with the Lord. The Lord saw that he was getting tired and called him home. I always enjoyed visiting him and Sta Dova whenever I would go home. We would talk about the past and he would always ask how everyone is. To everyone, children, grandchildren, great-grand, our dear friend Kenny, My niece Andrea, My cousin's wife Mully and Debbian. He had a great life and a wonderful partner. Sta Dova always took good care of him. People in the community will miss him dearly. Billy's bay is mourning the loss of two of their own. That goes to show everyone, you can die young and old. Death is a must friends. I encourage you all, look to the Lord he is coming soon. Please be prepared. Our condolences to the James family. May his soul rest in peace.
