Oxford, England:



I regret to announce the passing of Angela Savery here in Oxford England on July the 19th. Although born here in England in 1965, Angela's mother is Lurline 'Lam' Savery, daughter of the late Miss Betsy of Beacon.





Her siblings are brothers Vickers and Steve of Treasure Beach and here in England, her sisters Erna, Dana and Cheryl and brother David. Her auntie in Treasure Beach is Miss Louise Parchment who ran/runs the shop/bar called Cats' Corner in Beacon. Angela's cousins in treasure Beach thus include Thaddeus from Beacon.

Her funeral was held on August 12th. She was buried at Wolvercote cemetery here in Oxford. This was accompanied at the close by spontaneous, beautiful and moving gospel and traditional songs sung at the graveside by friends and family.

Family and relatives from afar were represented by Richie Senior, Richard 'Peckol' Senior's son, from Florida representing the extended family clan of Miss Lily (Angela's auntie in the USA, her mom's older sister); by many of the family members in person from the Sheffield, England side of the family including the matriarchal head, Auntie Hilarett, Angela's mom's younger sister; and also from London, Kingsley and family members.

Apologies to many of Angela's extended family, whose names, the space here may not permit. These include those who came from Sheffield, England such as Conroy, Sonia, Lincoln, Fenton and many in the United States who could not make the journey, such as Donna, Sandra, Corlett, Claudia, Peckol.
